- Weather
Once again can parents ensure children have appropriate footwear and clothing to allow the children to participate in all outdoor curricular activities
- Nursery Website
We are currently updating our website and will be adding items of interest such as photographs of children at play and quotations from children and parents. Please put in writing to the Manager (Mrs Julie Townsend) if you do not wish for your child’s photo, work or comments to be added to the site.
- Pre School Christmas Outing
Oh yes it is, Oh no it isn't................ oh yes it is that time of year again, when Mother Goose fluffs up her feathers and takes to the stage to entertain your child for one night only at the village theatre, Tuesday 24th November at 7pm. Show ends at approximately 10pm.
Staff will meet parents at the entrance to the theatre at 6.45pm
- Christmas Nativity
The staff, children and Helenna are currently working on our Christmas Nativity “Whoops a Daisy Angel” The nativity shall be held on Friday 18th December at 2pm Tickets will be on sale early December £1.00 per ticket
- Busy Bee & Pre School Chidren
The children are currently working on a sound table and are working on the sound (h) Children are encouraged to bring an object or toy from the house to share with their friends and display on the table, which shall assist with sound recognition
- Kids Klub
Are bringing a mobile film set to your nursery so that we can give your child the chance to star on TV in a Christmas film. Preview discs shall be sent home at the end of the day for parents to decide if they would like to purchase.
Siblings can be filmed together to make a special keepsake.
All children welcome to attend for this exciting session.
- Vision Screening
The appointments booked for the 20th November have now been cancelled and has be re-arranged for 15th December 2009
- Nursery Entrance
It is of high importance that Parents/Grandparents and any other relative or friend in the nursery dropping off or collecting a child never open the door and allows anyone to enter the nursery.

The staff would like to say a big H A P P Y B I R T H D A Y To all the children who celebrate their birthday this month.
- Information Update
Please remember to inform staff if you have changed address, telephone number or have changed job recently to ensure we have up-to-date and correct information held on file. Please also remember to sign your child in and out of nursery each day.
- Curriculum for Excellence
Successful Learners
This month the Glenburn Book club have enjoyed reading the story “Peace at last” by Jill Murphy The children have enjoyed lots of noisy activities and learning all about different sounds we hear in the house and nursery. Parents are invited to view the children’s fantastic artwork depicting the story
Responsible Citizens
The children are all excited and looking forward to our Christmas nativity they are working hard with Helenna learning all the songs and making informed choices and decisions about which part they would like to play.
Effective Contributors
Well done and a big thank you to all parents and children who came along to our Halloween Disco on the evening of Friday 30th October. It was a fantastic night with lots of fun had by all.
Confident Individuals
We would like to welcome our new families to the nursery and are also glad to report that the children moving groups this term have settled well and are enjoying participating in new learning experiences.
